Protestors have taken to the streets of the Maldives capital, Malé City against a Maldivian who spoke in support of Israel on social media.
A video clip has gone viral on social media which shows a large crowd of the public raising their voices, holding slogans against him and condemning his act.
The protest took place at the time the pro-Israel supporter arrived in the capital city.
The video shows a group of youth surrounding the individual, who is then ushered into a police vehicle.
The individual was taken to the Galolhu Police Station under police protection, due to the intense commotion in the area at the time.
