An individual has been arrested for alleged gang violence.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) received reports of the crime at around 10:05pm on Tuesday.
The assault is to have taken place on Keneree Magu.
Although no further details of the suspect were disclosed, police revealed that arrested in connection with the case was a man.
Further investigations are currently underway.
Speaking to RaajjeMV, a witness at the scene revealed that the gang violence was carried out by the man arrested, and a few others.
Arrested was only one person implicated in the assault, believed to the one who initiated the crime.
