A woman is being sought by authorities in connection with a case of fraud.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) publicized the summons for Mariyam Riyasa, 40 and native to capital Malé City on Tuesday.
The police institution revealed that the woman is being sought in connection with a case of fraud being investigated by the police station in Kudahuvadhoo island of Dhaalu atoll.
Police efforts to locate the woman have been to no avail so far, with which the publication was made under Article 27 of the code of procedure to be followed by the police in investigating criminal cases.
She is wanted for questioning in connection with the ongoing probe.
The 40-year-old is required to present herself to the Kudahuvadhoo Police Station at 11:30am on August 28.
