President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated completion of infrastructure projects in Madaveli island of Gaafu Dhaalu atoll.
President Solih on Tuesday, inaugurated the newly completed extension of the island's healthcare centre and the water supply network.
This was done as part of his tour of the atoll.
The extension to the healthcare centre includes three OPD rooms, a laboratory, an emergency room, a reception space, an injection room, and a dressing room. They would help improve and strengthen healthcare services by providing more space and resources for medical professionals to treat patients. The project was contracted to A Man Maldives Pvt. Ltd. The water supply network project was contracted to Triveni Engineering and Industries Ltd.
Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has made significant progress towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
