Ex. Pres. Yameen’s mother passes away
Former President Abdulla Yameen’s mother has passed away.
Fathimath Hassan passed away in the early hours of Monday morning, in neighboring Sri Lanka.
She passed away after battling a long illness for which she had been receiving treatment for an extensive period of time.
Fathimath Hassan passed away at the age of 86.
Following her passing, senior officials representing Yameen’s Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) have been joining the public in extending condolences to the mourning family.
