A manhunt has been launched for an individual wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) in a statement publicized on Sunday, revealed that wanted in connection with a case being investigated by the Hulhumalé Phase II Police Station is 21-year-old Ali Arraf, native of Hithadhoo island in Laamu atoll.
The summons was publicized as the authority’s efforts to find the man have been to no avail so far and as the suspect’s family also remains unclear on his whereabouts.
He is wanted to be questioned in connection with a case of theft being investigated by the Hulhumalé Phase II Police Station.
He is to present himself to the Hulhumalé Phase II Police Station at 9am on July 9.
The public has been urged to contact the Hulhumalé Phase II Police Station on 3035336 if any information regarding the man is attained.
