Two parked cars have been set ablaze in Hithadhoo district of Addu City.

The Maldives National Defence Force said that the fires had been put out shortly after it was reported to their Southern Area Command.

The fires were reported at around 03:50 am on Wednesday.

While the police are currently investigating the cause of the fire, no one was injured in the incident. However, the front of the cars had been severely damaged.
