BML AMEX promotion to proceed till the end of April
If an AMEX cardholder does not wish to participate in the promotion, they must notify the bank in writing

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has set April 30 as the last date to participate in the promotion for American Express card holders issued by the bank.
As part of the promotion, customers will be able to get back to their transactions through AMEX Debit and Credit cards.
BML revealed that the promotion is valid through April 30.
All transactions made by American Express cards in the Maldives will be automatically enrolled in the promotion’s lucky draw.
As such, the 10 customers selected through a lucky draw every week will win cashback for their winning transactions.
According to the terms and conditions for the promotion, it is open to BML customers including their employees and each successful local transaction made during the promotion period using American Express cards issued by the bank will be eligible.
In addition to this, AMEX Cardholders that make successful local transactions shall be eligible for the promotion and lucky draws will be conducted separately for customers and Bank employees taking part in the Promotion.
As such, 10 customers and five BML employees that win the weekly lucky draw will win cashback for their winning transaction and all successful local transactions will be eligible. However, BML highlighted that the maximum cashback amount will be MVR 2,500. The cashback amount will be credited to the BML account of the winner.
BML will be publicizing the details of the winners on their website and social media channels and will attempt to contact the winners five times. In the event BML is unable to contact the customer and the prize is not claimed by the customer, BML reserves the right to draw another winner.
Further, if an AMEX cardholder does not wish to participate in the promotion, they must notify the bank in writing to be excluded from the promotion.
With more than 325,000 customers and more than 7,900 merchants, the country’s national bank is the largest card issuance and card service bank in the archipelago nation.
BML is also the only bank in the island nation that issues American Express or AMEX cards and accept payments made through AMEX cards.
