The mother of MP for Dhaandhoo constituency Yaugoob Abdulla, has passed away.
The parliamentarian’s mother, Fathmath Sakeena, native to Dhaandhoo island in Gaaf Alif atoll, passed away on Monday.
She was 77 years of age at the time of her passing.
Her funeral prayer took place at the Aasaharaa Mosque after Luhr prayer on Monday.
Following her passing, parliamentarians, members of the general public as well as well-known figures in the political sphere have been pouring their condolences onto the lawmaker.
