President departs on an official visit to three countries

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has departed on an official visit to three countries.

President Solih departed from Velana International Airport (VIA) on Saturday morning.

He will be visiting Qatar, Serbia and Germany.

President Solih will arrive in Doha, Qatar, this afternoon for the first leg of his visit where he will attend the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries.

The President will then travel to Serbia where the two countries are set to sign a number of agreements.

The final leg of President Solih’s visit will take him to Germany, where he will meet with the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and hold bilateral discussions between the two countries.
