Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has mobilized the Harbor Development Project site of Narudhoo island of Shaviyani Atoll.
The project was mobilized on Wednesday.
Under the project, MTCC will do harbor dredging operations of 51,212cbm and channel dredging operations of 4,120cbm.
Additionally, they will also do construction of 371m breakwater; a 205m revetment; a 210m quay wall; installation of 955sqm harbor pavement, construction of a ramp and installation of harbor lights.
The project was contracted to MTCC in April 2022.
The project is to be completed within 365 days.
The value of the project is USD2.8 million.
