A fire broke near the harbor of Addu City’s Hulhudhoo district on Friday.
Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) disclosed that the Hulhumeedhoo Fire Station received the report of the fire at around 08:03 pm on Friday.
The fire that broke near the harbor, spread to the asphalt containers in the area.
MNDF states that the fire fighters of Hulhumeedhoo Fire Station attended the case at once and that the Hithadhoo Fire Station also helped in controlling the fire.
The fire was completely stopped at around 09:30 pm.
Even though the asphalt containers in the area were damaged, no one was injured in the incident.
