President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has departed on a two-day official visit to North Huvadhu Atoll.
The President departed on his latest trip into the atoll on Friday afternoon.
During the trip, the President will visit three islands; Dhaandhoo, Nilandhoo, and Maamendhoo Island namely.
During the visit, President Solih will attend functions to mark the completion of infrastructure development projects initiated by the current administration.
He will also meet with members of the island councils, Women’s Development Committees (WDC), and residents of the respective islands.
A delegation of senior government officials is accompanying President Solih on the trip.
President Solih is due to conclude his trip and return to Malé on Saturday evening.
