The individual succumbed to injuries of the crash while receiving treatment at Tree Top Hospital
A Maldivian has died in a fatal road accident, in the vacant area close to the bridge entrance from Hulhumale' side.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the accident was reported to them at around 2:30pm on Friday.
The accident occurred when a motorcycle and car crashed near the traffic light on Sinamalé Bridge.
The injured individual was rushed to the hospital immediately and was pronounced dead by doctors at the Tree Top Hospital, soon after.
The case is under further investigation by the police institution.
