The education policy of the incumbent administration of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih seeks to prepare students for the 21st century, says Vice President Faisal Naseem.
He said this while speaking at an event held to inaugurate Iskandhar School’s "STEM Fair 2022" on Wednesday evening.
Taking the podium at the event, VP Naseem shed light on the significance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to develop children’s knowledge and skills and stated that involving children in practical activities that require problem-solving to help build such skills.
VP Naseem also shed light on the priority attached by the administration to develop the education sector and added that success can be attained through resilience, hard work and determination.
The vice president went on to urge parents and teachers to collaborate in order to achieve the goal.
VP Naseem also visited the stands at the fair and inquired about the projects at the event.
Featuring 186 innovative projects by students from key stages 1 – 4, the STEM Fair closed on Thursday.
