Police issue summons in connection with case of fraud

Maldives Police Service (MPS) has issued a search for two individuals in connection with a case of fraud being investigated by the police station in Nilandhoo island of Faafu atoll.
As such, the two individuals are being located to be summoned for questioning regarding a case of fraud submitted to and being investigated by the Nilandhoo Police Station.
The summons come in accordance with section 27 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to be followed by the police while investigating criminal cases.
Being summoned are Ahmed Saleem, 41 and native to Thinadhoo island of Gaaf Dhaal atoll and Mariyam Raamiza, 35 and native to Meedhoo island in Dhaalu atoll.
The two individuals are to present themselves to the Shaheed Hussain Adam Building at 10am, on December 8, for questioning regarding the case of fraud under probes.
