Vice President Faisal Naseem has departed on an official trip to the Raa Atoll.
VP Naseem departed to R. Atoll on Saturday morning.
President's Office disclosed that Vice President Naseem will visit Inguraidhoo Island, Innamaadhoo Island, Maakurathu Island, Dhuvaafaru Island and Vandhoo Island in the atoll, during his trip to the atoll.
Additionally, the Vice President is scheduled to meet with members of island councils and Women’s Development Committees (WDC) of the islands. He will also visit Ungoofaaru Regional Hospital and other healthcare facilities in these islands and inquire about the services provided there.
Moreover, the Vice President will attend the ‘R. Tourism Expo 2022’ award ceremony to be held in Dhuvaafaru Island.
Vice President Faisal Naseem will conclude the trip and return to Malé on Sunday.
