First Couple to undertake State Visit to Bahrain
A number of high-level bilateral exchanges are expected during the four day visit
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed
The First Couple of Maldives will be embarking on an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
President's Office disclosed that President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed will be travelling to Bahrain on a State Visit on 5th October.
The First Couple's trip to the Kingdom of Bahrain will be from 5th October to 8th October.
According to the information made public by the President's Office, President Solih and First Lady Fazna is visiting Bahrain at the request of the King of Bahrain, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Additionally, a number of memorandums of understanding are expected to be signed during the visit.
Furthermore, a number of high-level bilateral exchanges are also expected during the four day visit.
President's Office highlights that these events are expected to strengthen the friendly ties between the Maldives and Bahrain.
