The search for a 27-year-old man, is still ongoing.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that Mohamed Azhaan, 27, went missing from Hulhumalé Phase II.
Findings so far indicate that Azhaan was last spotted boarding a taxi near Hiyaa Tower 13, early morning on September 18.
As such, police spotted Azhaan boarding a white car at around 04:53am on September 18, through CCTV footage.
Police officers are currently analyzing additional footages, to identify the car.
The public has been urged to contact the authorities through 3322111 or 9393351 if any information is attained on the whereabouts of Azhaan, or the identity of the white car’s owner. Taxi drivers have also been urged to contact the police if they took a passenger near tower 13 in Hulhumalé Phase II on September 18.
The authority went on to express gratitude to the public for their cooperation and support extended in such efforts, so far.
It has been a week since Azhaan went missing. He is to have been wearing a peach colored short-sleeved floral shirt at the time he went missing.
