Abdulla Shahid, Minister of Foreign Affairs has extended greetings on the occasion of the Independence Restoration Day of Timor-Leste.

The Maldivian foreign minister extended well wishes and warm greetings to his counterpart, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste Adaljíza Albertina Xavier Reis Magno on Friday.

In his message, the foreign minister expressed great pleasure in extending his sincere greetings to the government and people of Timor-Leste on the occasion of its 19th Independence Restoration Day.

Expressing hope that the good relations existing between the two countries will further strengthen in the future, the foreign minister took the opportunity to extend his best wishes for the good health and success of his Timor-Leste counterpart.
