Maldives Transport and Contracting Company has deployed the Mahaa Jarraaf to commence reclamation operations at M. Dhiggaru.

Land Reclamation and Shore Protection of M. Dhiggaru was handed over to MTCC on 10th November 2020 by Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.

MTCC mobilized the project on 20th March 2021.

The scope of the project includes reclamation operations of 25 hectares, construction of a 384m rock boulder revetment, and 287m rock boulder breakwater.

The value of the project is MVR 121.84 million.
