Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened a self-service banking ATM centre in Vaadhoo island of Gaaf Dhaal atoll.

The self-service banking ATM centre opened in Vaadhoo is part of BML's strategy to expand banking services to support local communities.

BML states that the new ATM centre in Vaadhoo will provide customers with cash withdrawal, deposit and transfer services on a 24-hour basis. As such, these services will be available for both individuals and businesses.

The bank highlights that Gaaf Dhaal Atoll currently has two branches with self-service banking facilities, in Thinadhoo island and Gadhdhoo island of the atoll. With the addition of the new self-service banking centre the atoll currently has self-service banking centres in Faresmaathodaa and Vaadhoo.

Highlighting that the BML is proud to be the only Bank providing ATM banking services across the country, the bank's CEO and Managing Director Tim Sawyer said that their teams have been working tirelessly in expanding their network across the country, bringing banking services closer to the communities.

Bank of Maldives states that the bank is committed to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across Maldives. As such, the bank now have a nationwide network of 35 branches across all 20 atolls, 81 Self-Service Banking Centres, 139 ATMs, over 200 agents and a full suite of Digital Banking services.
