A training session has been held on negotiation techniques and protocols to follow when signing agreements.
The training session was hosted by the Foreign Service Institute of Maldives (FOSIM) on Wednesday.
The session revolved around further enhancing the knowledge of participants on techniques to follow during the process of negotiating agreements and the proper protocols to follow during the signing process of agreements.
The interactive session included a video presentation and a practical demonstration of the signing process of an agreement and was conducted by officials from Ministry of Finance, Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure and Maldives Police Service (MPS).
The session was conducted by senior officials of the Ministry including Chief of Protocol Aishath Shaan Shakir, Additional Secretary Ahmed Shiaan and Legal Counsel, Mohamed Aseel Hassan.
Wednesday’s session came under FOSIM’s stakeholder Awareness Programme.
The stakeholder Awareness Programme was designed to share knowledge and experience and to build expertise on various subject areas targeted to relevant ministries.
