Ibrahim Rasheed Aboobakuru has been appointed State Minister of Tourism.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih made the appointment on Wednesday.
The Privatization and Corporatization board of the Maldives appointed Ibrahim Rasheed Aboobakuru as the Managing Director of Greater Male Industrial Zone in December 2018.
Earlier positions he served include the Deputy to the Minister of State for Home Affairs and State Secretary to the Secretariate of the North Central Province.
Aboobakuru holds a Master of Business Administration from Bolton University, United Kingdom.
