President Yameen appoints Minister Zuhoor to head STELCO
Zuhoor had been serving as Minister at the President's Office
Abdu Shakoor Salih has been appointed as State Minister at Environment Ministry
President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Gayoom has appointed Minister Ahmed Zuhoor as the Managing Director of STELCO and appointed his predecessor Abdu Shakoor Salih State Minister at Ministry of Environment and Energy.
Privatisation Board's President Mohamed Nizar had confirmed the appointments, adding that this decision was a sound decision.
Zuhoor had been serving as Minister at the President's Office. He had previously served as Commissioner of Customs, Health Minister, Youth and Sports Minister, Home Minister and as Chair of the Economic and Youth Council.
Shukoor was appointed as Managing Director of STELCO on June 2014.
