VP Naseem visits gov't offices in two islands of Alif Dhaal atoll

The Vice President visits government offices and institutions in A.Dh. Fenfushi and Maamigili Islands
As part of his two-day visit to three islands in Dhaalu atoll and Alif Dhaal atoll, Vice President Faisal Naseem has visited government offices and institutions in Maamigili and Fenfushi Islands.
VP Naseem visited and met with the management and staff of the health center and school in Fenfushi island.
During his visit to the school, the management of the school shared the difficulties they face due to space constraints and their desire to single-session schooling, as well as other concerns of the management with the vice president.
Further, the island’s health center officials talked to VP Naseem on the ways to solve the issues in the availability of medicine and other pharmaceutical products at the center, with which VP Naseem assured them that he would share their concerns with the relevant authorities.
His last stop of the trip was Maamigili island, where he visited and met with the faculty of the Alif Dhaalu Atoll Education Centre and the management and staff of the health center.
The meetings saw VP Naseem inquiring about the management and services, and listening to their concerns.
VP Naseem received a request from the education center to expedite the project to develop a new building, with which the vice president assured them that he will speak with relevant authorities to accommodate this request.
VP Naseem also stopped at the Road Development Corporation (RDC) site.
