Vice President Faisal Naseem has urged Muslims across the nation to make an attempt to understand what is written in the Holy Quran, while reciting.

Taking the podium at the inauguration of the Hifz Committee in Addu City on Friday, the vice president stated that it is important to understand what is written in the verses of the Holy Quran.

Shedding light on the sacredness of the Holy Quran, VP Naseem stressed that as humans, we must be afraid of committing sins and urged the communities nationwide to guide each other down the right path and to help one another out, as a Muslim nation should.

Comprising of five members, the Hifz Committee will prove to be beneficial to the residents of the city.

VP Naseem also observed the work of the committee and encouraged students to take the Hifz examination after completing their studies.

As part of his trip the vice president also met with religious scholars in Addu City.
