Mohamed Shahubaan, 53 and native to Maldives capital Malé City has passed away.
The former singer, famous for his melodious voice, music composition, photography and also an inspiring trainer for aspiring singers, passed away in a sudden death on Sunday.
His funeral prayers were held at Aasahara Mosque after Dhuhr prayer on Monday afternoon.
Shahubaan leaves behind two sons and was believed to have been suffering a severe cold before his passing.
Shahubaan’s death has left the entire music industry shaken, with several artists stating that his passing will dull the industry.
