fire broke out in Flat 147 in the capital’s suburban district Hulhumalé
No injuries were reported in Monday night’s fire.
Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) doused a fire that broke out in Flat 147 in the capital’s suburban district Hulhumalé at around 7:44pm.
MNDF revealed that the fire broke out in the second story of the building and that it had affected the third floor as well. Apartments in both first and second stories had incurred several damages due to the fire which was completely put out by the authorities at around 7:44pm. Two apartments in the third floor were also damaged.
MNDF is yet to determine the cause of the fire and extent of the damages.
