Hiyaa Flats can be occupied after August 17: HDC
 
The apartments with be open starting 17th August, for power generating

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has revealed that the Hiyaa Housing Units will be open, starting August 17.

Speaking on RaajjeTV’s ‘Fala Surukhee’ programme HDC’s Managing Director Suhail Ahmed revealed that the apartments with be open starting 17th August, for power generating.

Suhail said that, within the three months that the finishing work is being done, the flats will be rent free, and that the period will begin count on September 1st. He adds that some future occupants prefer other designs and have plans to change the structure of the flats, and that a third party is being involved to explore these possibilities. Moreover, he notes that there should be no concerns regarding quality, about Hiyaa Flats.

Despite the halting of Hiyaa Flat signings due to an HDC member testing positive for Covid-19, it commenced once more on Saturday. HDC proclaimed that signing formalities will go on until 18th August.

HDC further stated that the finishing work period of three months will being count after installation of power at the flats, even after the key is handed over to the occupant.

After signing the agreement, the key will be handed over to the resident. Also given, will be proof in writing that the flat has been handed over. Furthermore, if one wishes to change anything about the flat, such as the structure or design, they must submit a form for permission. As well as this, water supply and services will be readily made available.

HDC has confirmed that, MVR 8,500 will have to be paid, along with the management fees.
