MNDF assistance provided to family whose roof was ripped off due to bad weather conditions
Scattered showers and few thunderstorms in northern atolls throughout the day

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF)'s Northern Area Command has provided assistance to the family in HDh. Kulhudhuffushi City, whose roof was blow off due to the ongoing adverse weather conditions across the country.
MNDF said that the roof of a house in Kulhudhuffushi City was blown off due to the heavy rainstorms currently occurring in Maldives. In the midst of such a storm, the roof of this house was blown away because of a heavy wind that occurred at the time. The incident was reported at 7am on Monday.
MNDF further said that officers from its Northen Area Command assisted in fixing the roof, together with members of the Kulhudhuffushi City Council.
It added that roof has been fixed now.
MNDF have always assisted those affected by adverse weather conditions, weather it be fixing roofs or draining flood water.
