A Temporary United Kingdom Visa Application Center is now open in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Foreign Ministry declared that the UK Visa Application Center will only be accepting visa applications from August 2nd till August 4th.
They also informed that the Visa Center will collect the biometric enrollments and documents from all applicants who made appointments beforehand.
The Visa Application Center was established by the Government of the United Kingdom in the Maldives as per the request of the Maldivian Government, for the sake of those applying for visas, especially students going to the UK for higher education.
This is an attempt by the government to develop the consular services provided to citizens.
