Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Cooperation (MMPRC) has taken part in a special summit to promote Maldives as a luxury destination in the United States.

The Luxury Travel Advisors Ultra Summit, in which MMPRC represented the Maldives, was held in Texas, America from July 25th to 27th.

According to the information provided by MMPRC, the purpose of this summit was to overcome the hurdles faced by the Maldives tourism sector in relation to Covid-19, as well as to maintain MMPRC’s efforts to promote Maldives as a luxury destination. Moreover, MMPRC stated that this summit would help the Maldives remain as a top choice among tourists when it comes to luxury destinations.

This is the first event MMPRC took part in, face to face ever since Covid-19 in America. This Belize Tourism Board (BTB) summit, is one of the biggest events in the field and helps strengthen relationships between the Maldives and American markets.

This summit welcomes the attendance of all principle providers of the tourism sector such as leaders and managers of companies.

America is among the top ten countries from which tourists travel to the Maldives. This year alone, 23,504 tourists had come to the Maldives from America.
