Vice President Faisal Naseem held discussions on formulating a service provision guideline to diabetes patients with senior officials of the Diabetes Society of Maldives.

VP Faisal met with the senior officials of the Diabetes Society of Maldives on Wednesday morning at the President's Office.

Representatives of the non-governmental organization shared the difficulties and challenges faced by the organization with VP Faisal, and deliberated on formulating a guideline governing provision of services to diabetes patients.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice President inquired about the areas the NGO needs assistance and collaboration from Government Offices as well as institutions.

He assured that the Government would continue to provide any service necessary to the operation of the NGO and went on to thank the NGO and its staff for their invaluable contributions towards creating awareness about the disease and assisting patients.
