With an additional 14 Covid-19 cases confirmed, Maldives case total has reached 541.
This was announced by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih during his address to the people regarding the Covid-19 situation in the country, on Monday evening.
With this development, the total of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the island nation has risen to 541, this includes 185 Maldivians and 356 foreigners.
The president said that most of those seeking treatment are in stable condition.
In a tweet sent out later, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) noted that the 14 new cases include 9 Bangladeshis, three Maldivians and two Nepalese nationals.
