Gov't opens membership opportunity at Tax Appeal Tribunal
Deadline has been set at 24 March
Application forms have been made available at the front desk of the President's Office
The tribunal is tasked with arbitrating matters related to the Tax Administration Act

The President’s Office has opened opportunity for interested individuals to apply for membership at the Tax Appeal Tribunal.

The vacancy is for individuals with expertise on taxation laws with practical experience in tax accounting.

Interested individuals are also required to be experts in the legal sector, revealed the office.

The deadline for submissions has been set at 2pm, 24 March, a Tuesday.

The President’s Office went on to reveal that application forms have been made available at the front desk of the office and through its officialwebsite.

The opportunity was opened the first time round in January 2020, applications were accepted until 2 February.

Tasked with the responsibility of arbitrating matters related to the Tax Administration Act and other taxation laws, the Tax Appeal Tribunal comprises of five members. The president appoints members to the tribunal with the approval from the People’s Majlis.
