Dharavandhoo island council has announced its decision to lease land in the island's west port area to business establishments.

The council revealed that five plots of 800 acres are available for a lease period of 15 years to establish businesses in the island's west port area. As such, the council has announced that they have begun accepting business proposals for the plots.

While an information session has been scheduled for 11:00 am of January 16th, interested parties are instructed to present their business proposals by 11:00 am on January 23rd, a Thursday.

Moreover, the council declared that only parties that have attended the information session or contacted the council's office for further information will be eligible to submit the business proposals.
