The 6th Session of the Islamic Conference of Health Ministers was held in Jeddah, K.S.A from 5 - 7 Dec 2017.

Minister of Health, Abdulla Ameen, has participated in the 7th Session of the Islamic Conference of Health Ministers arranged by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Health ministers and health sector experts of OIC's member states will participate in the conference scheduled to be held from 16 - 17 December 2019 in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates.

Under the theme of "Quality of Life", the conference will focus on key health issues and assess the progress of health status in OIC Member Countries, including health developments and situations, major concerns, requirements, and priorities, etc.

The ministry of health has revealed that the Maldives will present a resolution regarding the challenges facing the health sectors of member states' due to the anti-vax campaign.

The most recent conference, which was the 6th Session of the Islamic Conference of Health Ministers, was held in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 5 - 7 December 2017.
