ADK Hospital has gotten in touch with the family of the 67-year-old local man who died on Tuesday morning.
ADK Hospital revealed via Twitter that the body of an unidentified elderly person, 67 years of age was brought to the Emergency Room on Tuesday morning.
The man was found dead in Artificial Beach in Henveiru-ward of capital city Malé.
The tweet further reads that the man was wearing a pair of blue shorts.
Police initially received the report of an elderly man in poor condition a little past 6am on Tuesday. He was rushed to ADK for treatment immediately.
He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital and the case was immediately attended by hospital officials.
