A Maldives National Defense Force vehicle has crashed on the Sinamale Bridge.

While photos of the accident have been circulating on social media, MNDF’s media official refrained from revealing further details of the accident.

The accident occured on Thursday afternoon.

The media official did however reveal that the accident occurred a little after 12pm on Thursday when a vehicle belonging to the MNDF’s motorcade en route to capital city Male’ on the highway. The vehicle had crashed into the highway dividers.

Maldives Police Service said that further details of the accident will be revealed.
