Ahmed Iman Moosa has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Finance.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih appointed him to the post on Tuesday.
Ahmed Iman Moosa has previously served has as Managing Director at SKULL Fishing, and had also held positions at Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun Plc (Dhiraagu) and Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA).
He has a Master’s degree in International Economics and Finance from the University of Queensland, Australia.
Moosa will be the second deputy minister at the finance ministry, along with Mohamed Firzul Hussain Firaz.
