Yumna Maumoon, the Minister of Arts, Culture, and Heritage, has said that reading to children is a talent.
She said this while speaking at the inauguration of the children’s multimedia library on Friday.
Speaking at the event, Minister Yumna said that it is an important duty for parents and teachers to instill the habit of reading at an early age to develop their love for books. She also advised them to read to children once per day.
Deputy Cultural Minister Ahmed Muhsin also attended the inauguration ceremony of the children’s multimedia library, which was re-opened after eight months of renovations.
