A dangerous accident has occurred on Laamu Link Road after a speeding car skidded and crashed.

The accident occurred on the causeway connecting Kadhdhoo to Fonadhoo on Sunday morning and happened when a speeding car lost control, skidded and overturned.

While no injuries were reported, the two people inside the car at the time had gotten out safe, RaajjeMV understands.

However, the car had been left heavily damaged as it crashed into the rocks on the side of the causeway. It had lost a wheel and was left dented.
