President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Monday appointed three new members to the Employment Tribunal.
The three were appointed full-time in accordance with article 89 of the Employment Act (Law No. 2/2008).
They are Aminath Abdulla Zuhair, Fathimath Maheera Mohamed, and Abdulla Mifraz Nizar.
They took their oaths and were handed their letters of appointment at the President's Office on Monday.
Aminath Zuhair, who was appointed as the Vice President of the Employment Tribunal, completed her Masters of Law at the Kingston University in London.
She previously held the post of a Legal Consultant at the National Pay Commission.
Maheera Mohamed has several years of experience in the legal sector, having completed her Bachelor of Law at the Maldives National University.
Mifraz Nizar previously worked as an Aisstant Public Prosecutor at the Prosecutor General’s Office as well as a Legal Assistant at the Supreme Court, and has a Masters in Business and Law and specializes in employment and Human Resources.
