Group of four robs house in Male'

  • They stole over MVR 6,000 along with three mobile phones
  • Police are yet to make any arrests in connection to the robbery

A group of men have robbed three expatriates in capital city Malé.

The police service stated that four men had broken into a house in the Galolhu ward and threatened the three expatriates residing there, before robbing them of more than MVR 6,000 and three phones.

The police are yet to make any arrests after the robbery took place early Sunday morning.

Two weeks earlier, a man was robbed of over MVR one million while he was taking the money to Expert Motors.

Cases of robbery have hiked in Hulhumale' as well.
