Maldives Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has given his assurance that the close brotherly relations between Maldives and Kuwait will continue to flourish in the future.
Foreign Minister Shahid made this remark in his felicitations extended to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah upon the commemoration of Kuwait’s National Day.
In his message, the Maldives Foreign Minister extended good wishes to FM Sabah, the government and the people of Kuwait, following the joyous occasion, on behalf of the government and the people of Maldives.
Praying for the continued success and happiness to the “brotherly” people of Kuwait, Minister Shahid extended sincere congratulations to the Kuwaiti people.
“Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration” wrote FM Shahid.
Kuwait’s National Day is marked every year on the 25th of February and it marks the day Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah took the throne in 1950
