The Maldives Democratic Party (MDP) has announced its second panel discussion for judicial reform, which is to be held on Monday night.
The panel discussion, with lawyer Hisaan Hussain, Husnu Suood, and Moosa Siraj, is going to be held at 9:00pm at the Islamic University of Maldives and MDP has invited ‘as many ‘lawyers, civil society members, and the public’.
The topic of ‘justice’ and issues arriving over access to it were discussed at the first discussion held under MDP’s ‘Agenda19’ campaign, under which it is lobbying over a dozen legislations to be submitted after the parliamentary elections in April.
MDP is fielding a candidate to all but one of 87 constituencies in the People’s Majlis; the party said at its press conference on Monday that judicial reform is a priority to the party.
