Inquiry commission for housing projects briefs President Solih

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s commission on inquiry of shelter and housing programmes run under the previous government has on Monday briefed on their work thus far.
The commission met with the president on Monday, and details of their work are to be shared with the public, which will ‘be done soon, through the media, the President’s Office says.
President Solih established the commission to investigate the process through which flats under previous housing schemes were awarded.
The commission has been investigating the state-run ‘Hiyaa’ scheme and the Gulhifalhu Housing Project to see if any potential flat winners who qualify were deprived.
