The Maldives Police Service has apprehended a suspect in the robbery of a shop in Kulhudhuffushi island of the nothern Haa Dhaal atoll.

A 36-year-old man was arrested in relation to the robbery at around 21:30 on Wednesday, the police say.

However, the police did not reveal the amount or property stolen in the robbery.
