Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has on Wednesday appointed board members to four companies.

PCB revealed via twitter that they had appointed members to Maldives Center for Islamic Finance Limited, Maldives Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) and Maldives Water and Sewerage Company Limited (MWSC) as well as Island Aviation Services.

Five members were appointed to Island Aviation Limited board:

• Dr. Ahmed Shamheed as Chairman (he previously served as Transport Minister),
• Aishath Jennifer as Executive Director,
• Abdulla Amir as Non-Executive Director,
• Abdulla Azim as Non-Executive Director and
• Azheel Ahmed as Non-Executive Director.

PCB had also appointed Non-Executive Directors to Maldives Center for Islamic Finance limited. They are Inaz Mohamed Didi and Ibrahim Mutthalib.

Three members were appointed to the board of MTDC:

• Abdulla Faiz as Chairman,
• Mohamed Fathih and
• Mohamed Janah.

Lastly, PCB appointed Ahmed Mausoom as the Chairman of MWSC.
